Jewel Toned Wedding

This sexy spring wedding took place in a private Beverly Hills home.  The bride and groom got married under a 70 year old sycamore tree that the grooms grandfather planted when he built the house in the 30's.  The sumptuous reception and dinner that followed was on the transformed tennis court where saturated jewel tones brought the theme together.  The tent was draped in a sheer chocolate brown fabric with an inner tent like structure made from dupiony silk in warm two tone cranberry.  Antique carousel mirrors floated on the walls between potted topiaries and reflected the soft lighting and the silhouettes of the glamorous guests.  The tables were coordinated in tones of deep blue, ruby red and silvery lavender with glittering colored crystal glasses, ruby glass dinner plates.  An abundance of beautiful orchids, Dahlias and succulent centerpieces surrounded by jewel toned votives made the tables sparkle in warm inviting illumination.  Following dinner and dancing, each table was invited to cut the wedding cake with the bride and groom.  Each table was presented with a small color coordinated cake of their own.  A perfectly understated yet formal evening where everyone participated in the joyous  occasion.
