GoodFood Catering produced and coordinated 12 exciting fashion shows and 3 special event for more than 3500 guests over a 4 day period in April 2003. The event was sponsored in part by SmashBox Studios along with Absolute Vodka, KCRW, and several other contributors. A kick-off party, fashion show and fundraiser by Frederick's of Hollywood started things out with a bang, with a "Fur Free" event presented by Danny Ceo following on the second evening. During the 4 days of shows, 3 designers a day presented their wares in a tent constructed in the main lot of the studios. State of the art sound systems, KCRW DJ's and beautiful lighting were the perfect backdrop for the edgy fashions. GoodFood also introduced the "GoodFood Cafe" serving delicious panini, tasty fresh salads and wonderful desserts to the famished fashionistas. The shows proved to rival any of those in New York and the praises from the press were proof. The week finished up with a blow out party in appreciation for everyone involved, making the overall event a total success.
